Simple Wedding Cake (DIY)


Two-Tier Simple Rustic Wedding Cake

Making this cake can be simple and inexpensive.



  • 2 cake mixes
  • 2 cake pans
  • Frosting
  • Icing tools
  • Flowers
  • Ribbons
  • Eggs
  • Oil
  • Water
  • Large bowl


  1. Get 2 cake mixes and empty both of the contents in a large bowl
  2. Add the required number of eggs, oil and water into the bowl
  3. Beat the mixture as instructed on the back of the cake mix boxes
  4. Place the mixture in 2 different cake pans, one smaller than the other
  5. Cool off the cakes by sticking them in the fridge or the freezer for faster results
  6. Stack the smaller cake on top of the bigger one
  7. Use buttercream or cream cheese frosting to spread on the cake
  8. Use an icing tool to smooth out the surface
  9. Add a flower of your choice with ribbons or whatever else you like to decorate
  10. Voila!
